FIVE CHAMPIONS CROWNED AT SANDOWN
1/12/2009 at 5:28:01 AM - Englishman Joey Foster was today crowned the 2009 Formula 3 Australian Drivers Champion at a rain soaked Sandown International Raceway.
Foster entered the weekend with a narrow four point deficit to Victorian driver Tim Macrow. “I was pretty confident going into this weekend even though I was chasing Tim for the points, so to have this realised this afternoon feels pretty awesome,”

Shannons Nationals season finale to be broadcast online
25/11/2009 at 3:38:18 AM - In a first for the Shannons Nationals, the ninth round of the 2009 series at Sandown Raceway this weekend will be broadcast live around the world via the internet.
The Shannons Nationals has engaged the services of Pure Motorsport, a fledgling Adelaide-based company specialising in online live streaming and on-demand coverage of motorsport events – to show action from the Melbourne circuit across the weekend to a potentially global audience.

Champions to be crowned at Sandown's season finale
28/10/2009 at 4:11:25 AM - National titles will be awarded at Melbourne’s Sandown International Raceway next month, in the ninth and final round of the 2009 Shannons Nationals. Across the weekend of 28-29 November, six national categories will hit the circuit, concluding the fourth season of the Shannons Nationals and another season of motor racing in Australia’s sporting capital.
