Following a successful inaugural season, the Australian Swift Racing Series has started the new year on a high with considerable interest coming from new drivers and teams. To top this off there will be an exciting series sponsorship announcement very shortly.
"Our first year was all about development and looking back on it we actually had a great year", said the Swift Series' Shaun Keeley. "However, we are looking to consolidate the series 2012 with expanded grid numbers and additional support in many areas".
"They are great little cars and apart from our circuit racing program we are also providing opportunities for our teams to run production car endurance events, which proved to be a winning formula at the recent Eastern Creek 6 Hour", said Keeley.
"We are also encouraging our teams to use the cars in Tarmac Rally, Hill Climb and club events, so they are very versatile and surprisingly affordable."
