Luke Fraser Racing is thrilled to announce that driver Luke Fraser will represent CLS Finance for the Phillip Island Enduro Round of the Australian Swift Racing Series across May 24 to 26.

The announcement comes after the 22 year old St Morris (Adelaide) resident took victory in the first round of the series, held at Mallala Motorsport Park in April, with an impressive ‘clean sweep’.

Series newcomer Luke Fraser dominated the opening round of the Hi-Tec Oils Australian Swift Racing Series, backing up from his race 1 win on Saturday night to take both heats today and seal the overall round result.

The Adelaide driver used his local experience to the max today, overcoming difficult conditions in each race to win against the Swift series strongest-ever field.

There was a countback for second overall in the round, Allan Jarvis edging out Mike Gore for the remaining spots on the podium by virtue of finishing higher in the deciding final race of the weekend.

Round 1 Mallala Motorsport Park

Typically of a one-make series, results ultimately come down to driver skill, which is a big reason why the category promoters are so intent on it becoming a logical stepping stone for aspiring young drivers looking to develop a name in Australian motorsport.

Keeping the Australian series aligned technically with New Zealand also provides an opportunity for both countries to develop a young driver path towards greater opportunities within touring car circuit racing not just in Australia, but internationally.
